TATTOOS > Blackwork

This tattoo means alot to me especially recently. Most of my tattoos on the right side of my body are all military memorial type tattoos. My grandfather recently passed away and he was in the Navy during the Korean conflict. Also the tattoo dave did on my left forearm was a piece dedicated to him as well. The Korean War tattoo is a huge check off my list of memorial tattoo's ive wanted for a long time. I had to pick which memorial and which words to use. The statue is from NJ Korean War Memorial nad the phrase is from the washington DC Korean Memorial. Dave did an awesome job with face and detail of the statue. Drawing the face and hand at diferent sizes so that each piece has its own emphasis and putting the phrase underneath...it turned out a thousand times better than id imagined.
